Fiat Ducato fitted out as a mobile office with bed and galley

Not everyone who walks into the workshop is planning a holiday. Here the brief was to work out of the vehicle and still be able to sleep in it: a long worktop with a white surface and a sink runs down the right-hand side, with an office chair on castors; facing it, a full-length bench doubles as a bed. The two seats behind the cab swivel round and add places at the worktop. The whole interior is lined in grey oak laminate, floor to ceiling.

Work station

  • Continuous worktop along the side, with a white rounded-edge surface
  • Stainless steel sink with folding tap
  • Office chair on castors, free to roll under the worktop
  • Gooseneck reading light on the side panel
  • Sockets and light switches grouped on the cabinet front

Sleeping and living

  • Full-length upholstered bench along the left side, converts into a bed
  • Storage under the bench, with laminate fronts
  • Full-height wardrobe next to the side door
  • TV on the overhead locker, facing the rear
  • Coaxial speakers flush-mounted in the side lining

Galley

  • Under-counter fridge next to the side door
  • Isolator switch and controls grouped on the cabinet front

Cab and comfort

  • Two swivel seats behind the cab, on locking rotating bases
  • Overhead lockers on both sides with aluminium profiles
  • Recessed LED ceiling lighting in two runs
  • Central roof hatch with emergency exit
  • Sliding side window above the bench
